Governor Andrew Cuomo recently launched a major electric vehicle (EV) rebate and outreach initiative to encourage the adoption of clean cars in New York. NYSERDA will manage the program, and will provide rebates of up to $2,000 for purchase of a new EV or hydrogen fuel cell car. The initiative will also provide $15 million for improving consumer awareness, installing infrastructure, and developing and demonstrating new EV-enabling technologies.
