NASEO signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) to enhance cooperation between the two organizations on energy emergency planning, mitigation and response activities. AFPM is a national trade association which represents companies that produce refined petroleum products and manufacture petrochemicals in the United States. The MOU provides a framework for NASEO and AFPM to engage on energy assurance planning activities, energy emergency exercises, and communications that will enhance overall energy assurance actions. The MOU encourages education and training that will benefit both oranizations’ memembers and improves the understanding of roles and responsibilities of our respective members during energy emergencies.
