U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Tom Vilsack announced $14 million in funding for biofuel producers (Green Earth Fuels, Beacon Energy Corp., and ME Bio Energy, LLC) that are expanding production of advanced biofuels from non-food sources. The latest round of funding continues USDA’s efforts to expand the use of a broader range of feedstocks for biofuel.
