On September 13, 2013, NASEO urged Senate support for the revised version of S. 1213, the “Weatherization Enhancement and Local Energy Efficiency Investment and Accountability Act” that would reauthorize the State Energy Program and Weatherization Assistance Program for five years. NASEO emailed Senate energy staff the SEP and WAP reauthorization summaries along with a copy of a letter from August 8 to Senators Coons, Collins, and Reed regarding the revised bill.
