The Indiana Office of Energy Development recently announced that it has officially begun the process of crafting a new energy plan for the State of Indiana. Indiana's current energy plan, the Homegrown Energy Plan, was written in 2006. Since that time, Indiana's cost of electricity for industrial customers has increased, causing Indiana to slip from 5th lowest in the country to 27th lowest.
