Wisconsin Hosts Energy Innovation Summit

On May 23-24, the Wisconsin Energy Innovation Summit was held in Madison, Wisconsin - and brought together stakeholders from the Wisconsin Office of Energy Innovation, as well as other energy professionals and leading experts, to discuss the state of the energy industry in Wisconsin and the nation.

Targeted breakout sessions addressed project development, funding mechanisms, effective planning, building successful partnerships, the value of reducing energy waste, and opportunities for market and workforce development in Wisconsin's energy industry. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with the OEI and other experts on how to develop effective energy programs that strengthen the economy and secure Wisconsin's energy future.

Pre-Summit roundtables on Day 1 provided targeted discussions on building and strengthening the geothermal and biogas markets in Wisconsin. Roundtable participants also had the opportunity to attend site visits to nearby facilities with successful installations.
