New Hampshire Releases 10-Year State Energy Strategy

Initiated by bipartisan Senate Bill 191 that Governor Maggie Hassan signed in 2013, the New Hampshire Energy Strategy will help guide the Legislature, state and local government, businesses, non-profits, and private citizens as they make future decisions about energy policy.

The strategy examines and addresses a variety of issues, with a focus on modernizing the state’s electric grid, increasing efficiency, continuing to diversify the fuel supply with local sources when possible and increasing transportation choices. It also includes ways for state and local governments to continue leading by example in energy efficiency and clean energy sources.
