Please join the NASEO Electricity Committee for a webinar on advanced nuclear technologies on July 8, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT. There are a number of new nuclear technologies under development, including small modular reactors (SMRs) and micro-reactors. These new, smaller designs are renewing interest and investment in nuclear power due to the increased safety, lower costs and clean energy they can provide. This session will explore the unique characteristics of these new technologies, their potential role in the nuclear energy industry and the remaining challenges to nuclear development.
