The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released the proposed rule for “Control of Air Pollution from Motor Vehicles: Tier 3 Motor Vehicle Emission and Fuel Standards” in the Federal Register. The proposed rule would strengthen standards to reduce sulfur content of gasoline starting in 2017. The comment period is open through June 13.
