Senators Wyden and Murkowski have formally submitted a letter to Energy Secretary Moniz requesting clarification on the circumstances under which the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has, or would, revoke approved permits for liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports. DOE has stated that it can change or reverse export approvals under current law when appropriate circumstances arise.
