The White House Council of Economic Advisors and the U.S. Department of Energy have recently released a report assessing the nation’s electric grid, and how to best protect it from power outages during natural disasters. The report finds that grid resiliency is becoming more important as climate change increases the severity and frequency of severe weather events.
