Utah's Office of Energy Development Launches Electric Vehicle Website

The Utah Office of Energy Development (OED) recently launced a website aimed at educating Utahns about the economic and environmental values associated with electric vehicles, and about the growing options for purchasing and charging electric vehicles.  The website boasts an interactive EV infrastructure map, a fuel cost savings calculator, a vehicle guide with specifications and details about the various vehicles currently available in Utah, along with many other features.

As part of a robust and diverse energy portfolio, one of the key focal points for OED is advancing alternative transportation fuel options for Utahns.  In September, the Office hired Blake Thomas to serve as its new Alternative Transportation Program Coordinator. Blake has already begun work with various stakeholder groups in Utah.  In collaboration with its partners, OED's goal is to move the state in the direction of a more diverse transportation sector.
