At the end of September, 2015, the New Mexico Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources department released the New Mexico Comprehensive State Energy Plan. The plan is the state’s first comprehensive energy policy since 1991 and calls for a comprehensive approach to energy development that promotes job creation, and economic development, among other goals.
