NASEO ENERGY STAR Task Force Hosts Second Webinar - More to Come

On April 21, 2016, the NASEO ENERGY STAR Task Force hosted the second in a series of five webinars.

The webinar focused on how State Energy Offices could engage key target-markets using the ENERGY STAR Program and resources. Guest presenters on the webinar provided innovative, successful, replicable, examples of how this has been accomplished.

Cheri Holman, Executive Director of the U.S. Green Building Council of West Michigan, discussed how the Michigan Battle of the Buildings has been instrumental in engaging the commercial building sector. Marty Lanning, of Energent Solutions, reviewed the Ohio Energy Cup which has been making progress with hospitals across the state.

A recording of the webinar is available on the NASEO ENERGY STAR Task Force site, along with information on other events and resources.

The webinar series has been designed to increase the awareness of the ENERGY STAR program among State Energy Offices and offer assistance and resources to those that are interested in using the program in their state. The series began with a broad overview of the program on March 10th and will continue to discuss timely topics such as K-12 schools, benchmarking policies, and data access in the near future.
