Program Initiatives Analyst

The first position primarily coordinates a wide variety of program initiatives for the Focus on Energy (Focus) program, as well as other programs supported by the Office of Energy Innovation. This position requires a working knowledge of energy efficiency and renewable energy programs and related best practices, innovation, market intelligence and data analytics that will be applied to support Focus program decision making. This position includes identifying key market trends and best practices and working closely with the Focus Program Administrator on new initiatives, overseeing pilot programs and research efforts aimed at evolving programs for future success. This position provides assistance in overall PSC policy and strategic planning activities. This position also provides limited analysis for other programs managed under the Office of Energy Innovation programs.

The second position provides lead policy analysis and oversees all aspects of evaluation, market research, and measurement and verification for the energy efficiency and renewable resource programs that make up the Focus on Energy Program. This position assures that the Focus on Energy programs are evaluated against statutorily established program objectives. Further, this position assists with the development and maintenance of the Focus on Energy data tracking system.

Wisconsin Clean Cities, located in Milwaukee, has a paid intern position available for a qualified applicant. The Clean Cities internship will give students studying business, engineering, environmental sciences or similar disciplines the opportunity to grow public awareness and expand the markets of advanced vehicle technologies, alternative fuels, and practices that reduce the consumption of petroleum in Wisconsin. Former student interns have participated in research, outreach activities, public education, K-12 outreach, fleet events, and a vast array of transportation-related environmental projects. This position is multi-faceted with many different tasks and focuses.
