The U.S. Department of Energy Office of Technology Transitions (OTT) issued a Request for Information seeking input on its commercialization programs. These programs address challenges in commercializing technologies as they move across the research, development, demonstration and deployment (RDD&D) continuum. They help guide interactions among DOE, national laboratories, the private sector, and others to help advance innovations through collaborative research, partnerships, access to facilities and expertise, and technology transfer. Among these programs are the Lab Partnering Service (LPS), Energy I-Corps, Practices to Accelerate the Commercialization of Technologies (PACT), Energy Program for Innovation Clusters (EPIC), and EnergyTech University Prize (UP).
OTT is seeking feedback on its programs, commercialization challenges not currently addressed, new program ideas, and ways to enhance diversity, equity, in inclusion in its programs. The full RFI can accesses at DE-FOA-0002607, responses are due by January 19, 2022, 3:00 pm ET.
