The U.S. House of Representatives FY’23 “Dear Colleague” letter led by Congressman Tonko (D-NY) and Congressman McKinley (R-WV) attracted 103 Congressional signers. The U.S. Senate FY’23 “Dear Colleague Letter, led by Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) and Senator Susan Colins (R-ME) gained 47 Senate signers – two more than last year. The excellent outcomes and show of support is thanks to the efforts of many of the State Energy Offices and NASEO’s partners.  The U.S. House letter calls on U.S. House appropriations leaders to provide $90 million for the U.S. State Energy Program (SEP) and robust funding for the Weatherization Assistance Program in FY’23.
