On November 13, 2025, the Colorado Energy Office launched direct-to-consumer Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate (HEAR) rebates for consumers with incomes up to 150% area median income (AMI). Single-family and manufactured homes are eligible for rebates through an approved contractor network or the Weatherization Assistance Program.  Participants can now receive rebates totaling up to $14,000 for the following ENERGY STAR certified measures: 

  • Heat pump water heater ($1,750) 
  • Cold climate heat pump for space heating and cooling ($8,000) 
  • Heat pump for space heating and cooling ($3,000) 
  • Electric stove, cooktop, range, or oven ($840) 
  • Electric load service center ($4,000) 
  • Insulation, air sealing, and ventilation ($1,600) 
  • Electric wiring ($2,500) 

For more information on Colorado's HEAR program, including guidelines on household and project eligibility, see the Colorado Home Energy Rebate Program website. The program will launch to small multifamily buildings under 50,000 square feet in early 2026.
