On November 13, 2025, the Colorado Energy Office launched direct-to-consumer Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate (HEAR) rebates for consumers with incomes up to 150% area median income (AMI). Single-family and manufactured homes are eligible for rebates through an approved contractor network or the Weatherization Assistance Program. Participants can now receive rebates totaling up to $14,000 for the following ENERGY STAR certified measures:
- Heat pump water heater ($1,750)
- Cold climate heat pump for space heating and cooling ($8,000)
- Heat pump for space heating and cooling ($3,000)
- Electric stove, cooktop, range, or oven ($840)
- Electric load service center ($4,000)
- Insulation, air sealing, and ventilation ($1,600)
- Electric wiring ($2,500)
